Beaver Lake
Beaver Lake is a 148 Acre Public Fishing Lake located in Anderson County, Kentucky created in 1963 and opened to fishing in 1964. Beaver Lake is owned by the Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife Resources in addition to 50 feet from the waterline up the bank area for the purpose of bank-fishing access. The maximum depth is about 47 feet, average depth is about 17 feet and there are 10.5 miles of shoreline. One boat ramp is located on the upper lake area off Beaver Lake Road. Largemouth Bass, Bluegill, Redear Sunfish, Black Crappie, Warmouth, Common Carp, Bullhead Catfish, Channel Catfish and Green Sunfish are all the common fish species found present in Beaver Lake.
Location
From it's location midway between Lexington and Louisville, the property is about an hour from either city. Lawrenceburg is the county seat of Anderson County with a population of over 10,000 and is less than 10 minutes from this property. Anderson County is business friendly with easy access to airports in Louisville and Lexington as well as easy interstate highway access. Nearby Lexington, Louisville and Frankfort provide dining, shopping and other activities. Anderson County is also home to world renowned 4 Roses and Wild Turkey Bourbon Distilleries along with nationally acclaimed Lover's Leap Winery.
All of the proceeds from this Auction are going directly back to the Kentucky Fish and Wildlife Foundation to support the efforts of the Salato Wildlife Education Center, conservation education programs for Kentucky's youth along with improvements to the grounds and facilities at each of the 3 conservation camps across the state.
